Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 3600 MHz 32GB review - Specifications and features

Initially available in wide frequency ranges up to 3600MHz and bundles up to 128GB (4x32GB) in black and white, the Vengeance RGB Pro SL features ten-zone dynamic RGB lighting in a form factor of just 44mm, providing broad compatibility with almost any PC assembly. Each module is rigorously tested and optimized for maximum performance and overclocking potential, for a memory that combines mesmerizing visuals with equally impressive performance. The Vengeance RGB Pro SL's compact 44mm form factor provides compatibility with a wide variety of CPU coolers, including dual-fan AIO liquid CPU coolers and many air coolers such as the Corsair A500. Ten individually addressable RGB LEDs per module can be mass-configured using Corsair's iCUE software and synchronized with all iCUE-compatible devices throughout your setup for stunning lighting effects across the entire iCUE ecosystem. The Vengeance RGB Pro SL continues the legacy of high frequency performance and steadfastness synonymous with Corsair memory. Optimized for compatibility with the latest AMD and Intel ddr4 motherboards, Vengeance RGB Pro SL uses a custom PCB to ensure high signal quality and stability. Each memory chip is meticulously tested and selected for high performance and overclocking potential, while a thin aluminum heatsink efficiently dissipates heat even during the most demanding tasks, so you can get the most out of your memory. With fully customizable RGB lighting and outstanding performance in an even smaller form factor, the Vengeance RGB Pro SL is memory that captivates.”

Done with marketing materials, now we can move on to the practical part of this article. Let's see what we have underneath the hood. First is Thaiphoon Burner, a very good utility for checking basic data on a memory card. According to this program, chips from Samsung B-Die (Boltzmann 20nm) with an 8-layer printed circuit board are used here. Will they provide headroom for some overclocking? We will see on the following pages.

The Thaiphoon burner showed most of the data, but not all.

The chips are roofed with an RGB heatsink to keep the memory and PCB at the same temperature for the best performance. If you don't like overclocking and just want to use the product, just flip the switches, enable XMP (which is basically the industry standard, and it's hard to detect RAM nowadays without this feature), restart your computer, and that's it. . Traditionally, we will start the review with several photo shoots, and then move on to the practical part (benchmarking / games).

The Corsair K70 RGB Pro has some of the features of the K100 RGB and (most of) the K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned). The "Pro" suffix had not yet been used, so the timing was probably right for it.
